American Toad

I've been tossing around the idea of having a pet frog/toad lately, so I decided to start with something that literally lives in my backyard, an American Toad.

I set up a little 10g aquarium I had laying a couple weeks ago, but I finally added a toad tonight. [The blue background isn't ideal, but it used to be a reef aquarium!]

Nice but can it bury its self in the dirt? Toads love to do that

I'm hoping it can. It's 2-3" of loose top soil on top of a small layer of aquarium gravel.

That should be good, my toad likes to bury itself right between the plants and wall so all you can see is his eyes!
