I was at the USA national zoo in Washington DC this week, and one of the whites tree frogs was black, (didn't look like just a dark brown) and the other was perfectly green.. wondering if anyone else has seen anything like it?
I'm no expert but most (if not all) tree frogs change color for various reasons. My girl can get very dark at night when there is no light and shes sitting on the dark substraight but can turn almost white (lol) if she sits on her light colored log when the light is on during the day. The other day someone posted a pic of there RETF that was almost completely black cuse the background of the tank was black.
I knew they varied in color, but I never realized that they could get that black.. it was really weird.
