Thanks. They scare me in the middle of the night jumping on their 6 foot vine. I feed them on a piece of ceramic tile so they don't ingest moss, and the green one waits on the tile every night at feeding time. At first I carried her to it, now she knows where to go. The blue one is learning, but a bit more shy.

I love it. All night long, I can hear Luigi tearing up my vivarium or falling on the rocks over and over again.

What did you name your new frog?

I named her Minnie. Mikki and Minnie.

I've had them for a while, and they don't sing.

I'm pretty sure Luigi is a male, but I'm so confused about the other one. Everything I look up says things like, "females get to a larger size" or "males have a slightly darker throat."

I don't believe that is true about the darker throat. Females are larger than males, and mine are pretty large!

Do you happen to know when their breeding time is? I remember seeing somewhere that the males will have darker brown pads on their feet during breeding time, and a few days ago Luigi's looked very dark. And he's been croaking so much lately, but that could be because he loves his new bigger home. But I'm curious if it was their breeding time, then if he didn't do anything with the other frog, could that be an indicator that they're both male?

Breeding season is the summer rainy season, and I'm not sure if that could be an indicator of two males. White's can be difficult to sex. While females are larger than males, White's from different areas are different sizes.

Neither are very large either. I got the first about 14 months ago, and got it very tiny, and I've had the other for about 6 months, and I know it was young as well.

Well, it is spring time in the southern hemisphere. So it is possible breeding time is now, but I can't say for sure. I have never bred them and really at this time have no intention of doing so.
