    Default Young but frisky.

Just wanted to show a picture of two of my juvenile B.orientalis amplexing. I've caught them amplexing a few times now. I'm actually very surprised...i expected this kind of behaviour would appear with sexual maturity, but my juveniles are less than 3 months from metamorphosis, and about and inch long (head to cloaca).
By the way, i think i have two young males and a possible female (judging purely by amplexus and hind legs size), but time will tell.
Anyway, here they are trying to be grown ups.

    Excellent!
My B. orientalis will be brought out of the critter fridge next week after just over a month at 50 F. I figure I need to try my hand a captive breeding them.
Watching FrogTV because it is better when someone else has to maintain the enclosure!

Keep us up to date on your progress. The care article for B. orientalis has been written, but does not have a breeding section (yet).
