O man that doesn't look so good, hopefully you get some answers. Did it happen right away or did it take some time for it to look like that? Maybe she got bit by a spider or something?

me too. I think it may be a bacterial infection. Hopefully it will go away. it started small and grew to that size.

Yea hopefully she recovers from it. Atleast its not like a tumor or something like that.

I have never seen anything that bad. Man I hope it clears up and your frog makes a full recovery. It looks almost like an allergic reaction to something.

Neither has yusuke. This is the seafoam samurai female. We should find out tomorrow or in a few weeks when the results come back. I really think its bacterial or a fungus infection.

I would start looking around where you keep you frogs for anything unusual like a spider or some kind of mold. Anything out of the ordinary. I've never seen anything like this in books either. Maybe it has to do with a weakened imune system due to this being a special genetic morph. Its very odd.

If this were a gecko I would say it is most likely is a severe case of mouth rot. My best guess would also be bacterial infection. Good luck with her. If Yusuke hasn't seen it before I would guess its not from mutation, as he has bred hundreds of these frogs. That is if he is truthful with you.

Just because he hasn't seen it before doesn't mean that its not because of that. Its just a guess. It almost looks like Leperacy, but that's a human disease. I don't think Yusuke would lie. That's bad business, but of course you never know when it comes to something that could potentially hurt a buisness. This is one of the strangest occurances that I've ever seen.

I haven't ever seen that before either. I know we've only been doing frogs for 4 years+, but still.....wow.
I hope whatever it is, that it's treatable and she heals well & quickly!!
