I've been wanting some dart frogs for a long time, but I heard they might be susceptible to high temperatures.
In Malta Summer temperatures can go over 30 degrees celcius (86 degrees fahrenheit) and in a vivarium, the temperatures might rise even more, what do you guys suggest I should do? Forfet about getting any dart frogs, or is there something I can do to keep them cool? P.S. I'm not willing to have an A/C switched on all day.
Temps of 85 degrees Fahrenheit for any extended period of time (an afternoon would do it) will kill dart frogs so my suggestion is if you can't guarantee temps can be kept at 82 or lower with the use of some form of cooling, then it is scrub the idea of dart frogs.
