Default Strange behavior from my RETF this morning.

My work schedule is 2pm-10pm so his "day cycle" is from 11am-11pm. He wakes up soon after lights out like normal and when I wake up in the morning to uncover his tank and turn his light on, he's usually already fast asleep on a leaf. This morning when I turned on his light, he was wide awake just chillin on a leaf. After alittle while he moved to another leaf and just sat there with his eyes open. I showered and came back to check up on him and he was still there with his eyes open. Shouldn't he have already been asleep an hour after lights have been turned on? I misted right before I left for work like I do everyday and he had his eyes half open but didn't tuck his limbs in like he usually does when he's sleeping. Temps are around 75 at night and I bump them up to about 85 during the day. Humidity stays around 80%. I mist with distilled water and provide fresh spring daily in his bowls.

I'm probably just over reacting lol. Just never saw him do this until this morning. Oh well I'll just keep an eye on him.

It's a good thing to notice their behavior (and changes in it), nothing bad in that!
I would not worry about it. They occisionally brake their pattern and do something that seems funky to us. But if it's just a day or so, there's absolutely nothing to worry about. Just make sure it isn't awake all day several weeks in a row, or something similar.

Thanks Martin. I'll just keep an eye on him. Either way I found this little situation to be a great opportunity for a few snap shots I'll post them tonight or tmrw when I'm not at work.
