At some point, most likely this summer, I'd really like to add an albino ACF to my tank. I know I should probably quarantine him before putting him in with my two but was wondering how long I should do it for? How long would it take for diseases to make themselves apparent? What sorts of things would I be looking for anyways?
You quarantine for at least 30 days - - keep an eye out for tattered and/or excessive shedding, bloating, floating, lack of appetite, redness of limbs, lack of response.
A 10 gallon tank is suitable for quarantine, and you have to make sure the sizes are compatible.
72 Gallon Bow - ACF and GF tank.
26 Gallon Bow - ACF tank.
20 Gallon Long - ACF tank.
