Ive got an 18"x18"x24" vivarium. I have all these different plants and everything, but It kind of just looks like a bunch of plants together. My question is: Is it better to get a lot of the same plant, or one of each plant? All I have is one of each plant. o.O
That is a personal choice and you pretty much have to be a landscaper when planning things out.
Usually a larger plant becomes a focal point and the one around, below, and above become filler to the visual experience.
Also trying to match or blend colors so everything doesn't look the same should be taken into account if your going for looks.
I like to look through members photo albums and do web searches for images to get ideas on how i want to design the next tank.
