    Default Pacman Frog enclosure size?

Would this be a good enclosure for a pacman frog?

Of course it would need to be cleaned and whatnot but would it be okay?

What are the dimensions of it that would help alot. And how big of a frog is going in there? It looks a decent size so you should have a problem with it

hmmm I don't really know how to take the dimensions but when I did measure it it said 22x22x32 I think!

I am not sure how big a frog is going in there yet because my mom hasn't decided which frog she wants yet. It's a choice between whites tree frog (obviously this is not a suitable enclosure for a WTF) and a pacman. I think if she chooses the pacman we will be getting a baby. So it will be pretty small.

That may be a little overwhelming for a Pacman frog. They do need a decent amount of ground space for burrowing, but they usually feel more comfortable within smaller enclosures. This large of a tank will also be difficult to maintain correct temps and humidity levels. It can be done, but the amount of open space will make the frog feel stressed. Start out with a small enclosure especially for a baby. You cn upgrade as the frog grows.

A Pacman frog can live its entire life within a 10 gallon tank comfortably. They do become lazier as they mature and won't be quite as active so that much space is not necessary. When they are young they are extremely sensitive to the conditions of their environment and you will need to make it easy to control temps and humidity levels.

If that enclosure is that big maybe you can put a divider in the middle and house two in there. A 10 gallon is 20 inches long by 10 wide. So what you have there should be good for two if you want more then one.If you do that make sure you paint the divider black so they dont see each other.

If you are going to get a baby pacman I suggest putting it in a small enclosure first, than when its bigger and feels safe, try putting it in a big tank. ( I think a 10 gallon tank is perfect). I also agree with Grif on it being hard to control humidity and temp. if its in that big of an enclosure. Good luck on the new little guy!
