Hi,
here are the most recent pictures of my pyxie frog :
I bought it 2 months ago (It was a little baby). I feed it every 2 or 3 days with locusts, crickets, roaches and earthworms + 1 baby mouse by month (I add some calcium powder and rarely calcium powder + D3).
Do you think it is possible or not to say if it is a male or female already ?
Thank you in advance.
I am in no way an expert, but from what I have learned about sexing these frogs tells me it is a female. But we will wait for someone more qualified to answer.
Adorable frog by the way! She (or he) looks very well cared for!
Very nice GABF. I'm no expert but in my experience with reading about these frogs tells me its female due to how narrow the frogs head is compared to the body.
It's too early to say. If I had a guess I would say its not a female, but time will tell. How old?
Thank you for your answers.
I don't really know how old it is.
I bought it 2 months ago and it was 4cm long.
So I should say it is 4 to 6 months years old.
LOoks like young male to me. Not much head structure going on yet but you can definitely see it starting to.
