Default In Search of Red Eyed Tree Frogs

Does anyone know of a Red Eyed Tree Frog breeder in the Atlanta, Georgia area. If not, what are some good on-line sources for tree frogs?

Your best bet would be going to that show in Atlanta if you can. That way you have many options and you see the frog you want instead of being shipped one. Idk, it's just my preference and lots of times at the shows you can get really good deals
Good luck and have fun! I love my red eyes

    Thanks Lynn.

I am familiar with Josh's Frogs and purchase some terrarium supplies from them. I will look at Rainforest Junky. Josh's Frogs actually referenced them. There is also a breeder in south Florida, Underground Reptile that seem to have a good selection. I like the idea of going to the Repticon event. It will probably be an hour drive from my location in Atlanta but would save the shipping costs and can see what I am getting.

    Regards, Brent

    Hi Brent,
I think the drive would be worth it also.
This way- there will be no shipping, like Shanny said. A bit less stress for the frog
( although they had to travel to get to the show ?)
I don't know how others feel, but I would NOT buy an adult Red Eye at a show.
You should be able to get little guys. I like getting them really young.
Bring a cozy container w/ you for transport home.
There is time to pick up a few cheap/ little ? aquariums for quarantine quarters.

My last purchase was 2 ( ordered) very young albino red eyes.
When I picked them up they had been shipped together/and were with other young red eyes.
I made the decision to leave them together for their quarantine period.
Plus, at he time I had a rescue in the "hospital" tank that was a mess and needed to be treated for parasites.

It is so much fun to make the plans for them.
And so important , like this , to be prepared with all the things they need.

    Enjoy !

Thanks. Underground Reptile looks like a great source. I wound up finding one locally at a chain pet store .. small miracle. Now I am in search of some companions and will probably check out the Atlanta Repticon event.
