I read on a website that ACF are sensitive to vibrations in the water, im currently using a Tetra Whisper and Aqueon and was wondering if these filters are good to use?
They are just fine. The hype about filtration and the vibrations being compared to living with a non stop jack hammer are grossly over exaggerated in my opinion.
I over filtrate all of my tanks and would never dream of doing anything else.
Unlike other species, these frogs can never leave the water - therefore they should be given the cleanest water possible. Make sure you maintain your filters properly - - ie never changing the media as the bacteria that builds is the essential part of the filtration, otherwise you are simply making bubbles.

I personaly use outside canister in ALL my tanks , beit fish , turtles , or aquatic frogs such as my Pipa colony. Whether a fliter that sits inside the tank stresses the animals as documents claim I do not know. I could understand how it could, so better safe than sorry. Canister filters have worked the best for me and my husbandry practice. Good luck.
