    Default Pinky Mice

    Hello,

What is the official response to feeding a frozen pinky to a skinny WTF? I just wanted to see what everyone had to say because I've read conflicting things about doing it. My dumpy Captain always goes on hunger strikes when it starts getting cold, and this year is no different. I just don't want him to get all skinny like he does every year. I do have some butterworms I can give to him, but he rarely eats worms which really limits my options. Anyway, what is the general thought on pinkies?

Pinkies are ok once in a very blue moon, but do not feed them regularly. Waxworms are high in fat content, so they would be better. What you really need to do is make sure the frog is receiving 12 -14 hours of light a day and not let the temparture in its enclosure drop below 72 during the day.
