hi i was just wondering what else i can feed my whites tree frogs. atm they are only small so im sort of thinkin ahead. iv heard they can have pinkies as a treat once they are big enough. they r currently about 1 1/2". cheers.
Crickets, roaches, mealworms, waxworms, hornworms, superworms, pinkie mice...they will eat almost anything! You should read the caresheet for whites under 'Care Articles' at the top of the page. It has lots of great info on caring for Whites tree frogs!
Anything that's no larger than the width between there eyes is the general rule. Dubias, small to med crickets, some frogs will eat angle worms, or meal worms... Really anything that moves

yeh i took a look at the care sheet but was kinda unsure of wot size the frog should b. they still seem so little and roaches seem far too big atm lol. they occacionally get those other lil bugs that sometimes r in with the crickets. how would u know wen they can eat different worms etc as these r long and skinny so surely the 'width between eyes' wouldnt work here. i really want to give them somethin else to eat but i really really dont want them to choke! thanks
If you are looking for something to feed him right now you could try flightless fruit flies. They are very small so it would take a lot for him to get full. I recently discovered phoenix worms. They are high in calcium and tend to be pretty small.
You might also want to try cutting up a nightcrawler into bite size pieces and see if that works. If he doesn't eat them on his own maybe use tongs and wiggle them around.
ok cool, ill ask at the pet shop about them. if they got them in stock ill just get a few of each off them and give it a go. thanks guys, im sure the froggies will thank u aswell lol
Welcome!
