One of our Moderators, Amy a.k.a. LilyPad hasn't been "Active" on FrogForum since September 18th, 2011!
She along with Pete, Gail and of course John are amogst the first people to really help me out when I got started with my toads, wonder why Amy hasn't been on the forum? I mean she had toads, Grey tree frogs, and was even atempting to raise Spring Peepers, everything seemed to be going well with her, then all of a sudden, nothing... kind of odd.
Yes, I havent seen her here in quite a while. I hope everything is okay.
Ya she was posting on many of our posts and helped me with my rep too =). I hope everything is well she might just be busy. I went a few months of never being on here due to busy rl and internet issues. But then came back XD. Im sure she will when she can.
She's still listed as a Moderator so I'm guessing she couldn't go far. I sent a message to her letting her know she is missed. Thanks for bringing it up Poly.
The simple answer is "life gets in the way". Could also be a case of burn-out.
I don't mean to be resurrecting a 2 1/2 year old thread...but I just found this and I really want to apologize for disappearing the way I did. I feel a lot of guilt over it.
Without going into detail on a public forum, I went through a time where I had a lot of things going on in my life and it was hell. My kids were the only thing that kept me grounded and going until I got some things resolved. That's no excuse for not contacting anyone, I had lost access to the internet for a while, but not for the entire 2 years I was gone. I am really sorry for those that I worried and thanks to everyone for welcoming me back.

I do feel bad though. I made some good friends then, and didn't let anyone know what was going on with me. Some of them are no longer here and I have no way to apologize to them.
I'm very happy to be welcomed back though, I loved this forum then and again now! Everyone is so patient and helpful and I love that.

Ah, life tends to get in the way. We all have things we need to tend to in our lives that take precedence at times.
We're just glad to have you back .
