How many of you guy's actually decholorinate the water you use for your frogs everytime. I have never once decholorinated the water that I use for my frogs and haven't have any issues skin wise or heavy metal wise that I know of.
If dechlorinating is extremely important could I simply use R/O (reverse osmosis) water that I keep in a drum for my salt water fish tanks? that water is pretty much stripped of absolutely everything. Is this even good for the frog? I mean even people are recommended to drink water from the tap at times.
Thanks
First of all, there are two things you use water for. Misting and for the water bowl.
Misting: Here, it's just a matter of how clean you want the tank to be. Tap water is fine, but it'll leave quite a bit of mineral deposits on the glass. If you don't mind cleaning the glass of the tank, then there's no need for extremely pure water.
Water bowl: Here, you generally want water without some of the nasty stuff that's in our tap water. This usually mean that you either add a conditioner to the water, or just bottled water. Note that you do NOT want to use distilled water as the only water source, since it lacks even the good things in the water.
For a much more detailed description, I highly recommend reading this stickied topic:

I always dechlorinate my African Bullfrog's water. They are tough frogs but I would rather be safe than sorry.

Awesome link Martin, thanks so much
The information on Martin's link is great. Just want to add that tap water treatment by cities varies from locality to locality and even within a locality (during different seasons). Some places you can literally use water straight up; others require dechlorination (chemical or by aerating water for 48 hours); and still others require water conditioners due to presence of chloramines and heavy metals.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
I use Prime to dechlorinate waters for my fishes and frogs. Our waters here you can smell the chlorine city added. Fishes won't survive more than 15 minutes if you put them in untreated treated.
I tested the local water here and surprisingly it has very little chlorine, but I still treat my water every time anyhow. I use stress coat.
