    Default Leucs as classroom pet?

I keep getting my wife to get a classroom pet and wonder if leucs would do well? Easy enough to bring home during holiday breaks when they turn off the heat and springtails seem to be a low maintenance food source so they don't need daily maintenance. Calling in the middle of class would a riot to 1st graders too I bet.

I think Leucs would do well. Although you would need to have one culture of Fruit flues going. They would also need to be misted daily.

I might be missunderstanding the situation, but wouldn't stress be a concern if a bunch of 7 year old kids are going to be wreacking havoc in the same room as the terrarium is located?
