Default I gave Tank a new home last night also 11/27/11

    Tank's new paradise...

I decided to give Tank a new home since Stickers and Bubbles are now in the 55 gal viv. And since Tank is outgrowing his water bowl and putting the bigger one into his home would have taken up a lot of his burrowing space, which he loves to do.

He was so funny exploring last night. Hopping around every corner. Over the cave and plants, over the rocks, in and out of his new larger water bowl. It was cute!

I put in his fogger for a bit and he was just mesmerized! Ha ha! It was hilarious! Everywhere I moved it, he followed. (No worries, I watched him closely so he wouldn't hurt himself on it.) I'd move it, he'd follow! Ha ha! Then he'd scootch closer to it and sit right next to it! He did it three times, lol! Silly frog!!!

He ate well last night, soaked, and left a big ole poo. He seems to be doing just fine with his new home. Hopefully he likes it . He's a pretty easy-going frog, that's for sure .

Here are a few photos. I'll post more as time passes. Enjoy!

    Thanks!

He seemed to be having a blast last night checking it out. He had me laughing. He looked like a kid in a room full of toys! Ha ha! So cute! He's burrowed under the fern today taking a nap .

Haha, well I'm sure he enjoyed the extre space! How large is that tank? I think my little pac was cold this morning, so I put a 10 watt cfl bulb on his tank to warm him up (the 6500's throw heat pretty good ) until I pick up a 10 watt heat pad this weekend. (Put it on the SIDE of the tank, right?) I want my lil pac to be warm, it was about 69-72 in his tank this morning, but it's now up to around 78, I want to keep him at around 80-82, becuase he's so small (3/4" STVL).

    It's a 29 gal.

I tried to fill it in lots to make him feel safe . Lots of nice hiding spaces . Background cover on the back and also to the right. I have two UTH's to the right corner, one on each side of the corner to keep it nice and warm. With the bigger tank, taller, I'm going to get a higher wattage for him. Just have a 50W right now. I'll buy a few extras too since it's winter. Never know when you'll need a replacement .

Tank likes it around 80-82 .

That's so cool, it makes me feel like I'm one of those pet owners you see on tv with his dog living on a 2" chain. What is that fogger? I'm sure you've had to explain it 100 times, can you do it once more? Maybe links to retail pics of it? (not sure if that's acceptable on this forum)

@ Kocky, it's just a little fogger. It's cool, but it evaporates the water it sets in super quick. It's not a great way to humidify a tank, or at least not a big tank....but it looks pretty cool. My little guy loves it . I took a video of him tonight but I don't know how to load it to here from my phone. Here are pictures of what it is. I just put it in a snack cup and run it for a few minutes for him.

Oh yeah, no live plants. They are all fake. Simple and easy to clean. And not too much work if he digs them up or flips them over, lol . He's been pretty good about leaving them be so far. He likes to burrow next to then and under the leaves.
