Welcome to the forum.
Sorry but I don't have a good answer to what to do with all the frogs.
I'm new here... I found this site looking for answers about these tadpoles I have. They're about to sprout legs and I don't know what kind of frogs they are yet. I am pretty sure they're NOT cane toads (bufo bufo toads) because they were found in a driveway puddle, no strings of eggs, and they're not black. I'm pretty sure they're tree frogs. I'm afraid they might be Cuban tree frogs. I love all frogs and toads, so I will be keeping a good handful anyway, but what do i do with the other 145 or so? I have posted 2 pics of my habitat in my albums and they're pending approval before they post I guess...lol.

1.0.0 Red Eyed Leaf/ Frog - Agalychnis callidryas
1.1.1 Bumblebee Dart Frog - Dendrobates leucomelas
1.1.0 Dendrobates truncatus - Yellow Striped
1.1.1 Dendrobates tinctorius – Bakhuis Mountain
1.1.0 - Dendrobates tinctorius - Powder Blue
1.1.0 - Ranitomeya vanzolinii
Can you release them? If they are a native species of course. If not, you can humanely euthanize them, by either freezing them, or separating the ones you do not want, and pouring clove oil in the water with them.
I'm really hoping they're a native species... otherwise, I can't euthanize them. I love froggies too much to destroy them. Now they're starting to sprout legs...
Only time will tell, but if you found em in a puddle then they are most likely native, so I'm sure you could release them. But keep us posted on their progress!
Ok, I now have a few froglets and they appear to have red eyes and a stripe running down their sides from their eyes. They're not green though, actually so far they look like wood tree frogs, but with red eyes. I posted pics in my album of 2 of them. Can anyone tell what they are yet?
Thanks... Ashley
welcome to forum i dnt know enough about frogs to tell you what those are from the pic at least not yet but maybe this link will help Florida Wildlife Extension at UF/IFAS
Welcome to the forum . Good luck with your tads.

The red eyes may fade as they mature, my vote is southern leopard frog.
I have at least 7 froglets that I can find. They're developing a single white stripe across their side, and they appear to be a dark green... I don't know how to add a pic to this post, so I posted some in my album. I think they're common green tree frogs typical in Florida..(whew).
Welcome to the forum!! Enjoy your new froglets.
Hey! I did it! I've been trying to figure out how to attach pics....lol.
So, these are a couple of my new froglets. The froggie on the right also has stripes like the other one, you just can't see them well. Can anyone tell what kind of tree frogs they are?
Awe! Cute little guys

Well, I set up the new vivarium for the froglets, and I estimate there's around 100 of them...lol. They're eating little crickets and flightless fruit flies.
Nice vivarium; any ideas on frogs species? My take would be that if found in the wild and not an undesired introduced species you could release them.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
So cute! Nice vivarium.

First off that is awesome that you are willing to take them all in Great job setting up the housing and all. I think they will be ok to release in the wild in a bit. I wouldnt keep them all, I would get them big enough to let them go. I lived in Florida my whole like, born and raised up until 5 years ago. I was born in Miami and lived in Ft Lauderdale. I have seen those things all over. I dont remember the name though.
Hey welcome to the forum and nice pics! It's awesome how you took these guys in! Do you think they might be green tree frogs? I'm nots so sure....
And to those who have commented, how do you get those things in your signature that say what species you keep? Just want to know...
Wait no those aren't green tree frogs sorry I didn't really see the pic that well haha!
...lol, thank you
So what kind of frogs do you think they are?
I was planning on keeping them just long enough until they can be released and not be immediately eaten by lizards. I will be keeping 5 or 10 anyway... some for home, some at work.
However, there are around 15 indigenous frogs here in Florida, and 1 nuisance, the Cuban tree frog, and I'm afraid they might be those. I have noticed that their back feet are webbed, and many of the older ones have a distinct white stripe along their lip which the Cuban tree frogs don't have. However, some look like green tree frogs but in varying shades of greenish tan... and some look like wood frogs.
So, I am totally in the dark as to what they could be, still.
Any suggestions?
