Hello, first I want to say I love this forum. I find soooo much useful info. Most of it is very topic specific so I use the FBT and the Viv forum threads alot. The only problem I am having is finding info on health care for my toads. I have to use keyword search and most times I find what I am looking for in other forums for other toads or frogs.
For example, I found good info on treating an infection under African clawed frogs where someone's frog got caught in tank decor. Another thread about FBT infection was under Bombina Orientalis. It does seem that most of the health care issues have similar suggestions and would be very useful to have a forum topic specific to that.
Right now I am looking for info on how to deworm my toads. Two are looking too thin despite eating tons and I think maybe they have parasites. I didn't dust with dewormer when I got them. Anyway, having to find various threads on worming using keywords leads to alot of different places. It would be so helpful if health / sick care issues could be in one place maybe.
Just a suggestion....but it would be a great addition I think.
That's a great idea!
Unfortunately I don't have the answer to your question, but I hope someone here will.
Good luck!

Great idea, second the motion. As for the deworming, I'm sorry but I don't have an answer.
That would make an excellent topic! I'm sure someone on here will the the info you require!
it's very good
There's a Basic Frog First Aid care sheet written by Paul Rust on how to treat the most prevalent illness', infections, and disease in a frog or toad:

Should be able to help you out in a lot of areas as far as de-worming or treating parasites. Check it out.
