For astivation coco fiber and top soil is good. When a frog astivates its when conditions are dry and cool. The sphagnum moss keeps it wet . Unless you stop spraying it.

Nice pac! How's it heated? Or is it only used for astivation? Did you do anything to provide additional ventilation? Let me know, thanks!

I like it man: simple, easy to clean, and efficiently houses a pacman's care needs they require.

You put all your frogs through aestivation or only the breeders? This is my long term goal if I ever get around to getting a collection.

I'm going to try that soon. Its good for the frogs .Astivation adds years to a frog.

I want to put Grif through astivation next year. I want to take Jessica's advice and wait til they're atleast a year old first. Of course she'll be over a year by next year but its ok. Loki still has quite a while though. I've read up on the process and it seems scary to put them to sleep for such a long time but I want them to live very long happy lives.

Hi, may be a silly question but how do you go about putting a pac through Astivation? Mine doesn't even want to burrow!
