Gorgeous Pacman! Such lovely colors!
Awesome! I have never heard of a Caatiga x Onrata hybrid. Yours is so brightly colored!
Are they sterile like Fantasy Pacman Frogs, or can they reproduce? Where did you find him?
That's a very nice looking frog, that's the nicest green pacman I've ever seen

This is a new hybrid. Not to much info is ou there. They might be sterile. I dont think any body nows yet. Is there a pic of a adult out there?
these were bred by Phillipe Vosjoli. I think he did one or two runs of breeding them. Then he just bred the pure Caatingas. I prefer the hybrid though with the Ornata. Its a great combo. Dont know if he will breed them again.
So, according to this paper, Ceratophrys aurita, ornata and jozariensis all have the same chromosome number. While this doesn't mean the hybrids *will* be fertile, it at least removes one roadblock, as hybrids from parents with differing chromosome numbers (mules or fantasy frogs, for example) are almost never fertile.
Very nice vibrant pacman. I find this hybrid a lot more appealing than an Ornate; agree with you. From what I understand, the Caatinga's don't get very big hence why this hybrid stays small for the most part - even females.
