Hey guys, I would really appreciate it if you can help me out on a few things.
I am thinking about using the Exo Terra 18x18x24 terrarium for an adult frog (maybe two). That way I can add a pond, as oppossed to simply a dish. What I would like to know is:
(I) How deep it can to be.
(II) What can I use to blend it into the terrarium/make entering and leaving easy. (I was thinking of using a Exo Terra turtle bank)
(III) I also want a water feature(s) of some sort; I had the Exo Terra waterfalls and turtle cliff in mind (leaning more towards the cliff as they have a filter) and a fogger to help with humidity and also for aesthetics.
(IV) What size heat mat I would need and whereabouts it needs to be, and any other heating. (if necessary)
Thanks,
Jack
(I) I've seen Kurt use a pond several inches deep for White's Tree Frogs, but I would recommend nothing deeper than 2 inches (5 cm).
(II) This is a tough one. If you want to take the simpler route, I would try the turtle bank.
(III) No harm in these, just make sure you can easily access them if something goes wrong once the terrarium is up and running.
(IV) This depends on how warm/cold your house is. I would get one that covers at least 50% of the surface you're going to apply it to. I would put it on the side.

Ah, thanks for that then. I found that most care sheets are pretty unclear about some stuff, so that helped a lot. Thanks again.
