I have a quater-sized toad. What should I feed the little guy? Fruit flies seem too small. Earthworms, too big. What to feed?
Considering adult toads regularly eat ants, fruit flies are the way to go. Better many small food items than 1 or 2 big ones.

pinhead crickets, definetly, pinhead crickets
I personally just hate smelly, noisy crickets sooo much I would do fruit flies...and then roaches as your toad gets bigger.
I hear that alot about smelly crickets, but I haven't had smelly crickets yet. I do clean the container out weekly. Also young crickets = no calls. I still gotta go with the crickets as my choice, but to each his/her own.
stick with very small crickets. probaly pinhead crickets like the other guys said. i have firebellys and with crickets they dont make much if any noise when there small. i get 3 week olds at my pet store and they dont stink at all, dont make noise and are awesome for the frogs. people say there a bit small but there nicer for me. 3 week olds are probaly to big for u so get pinhead crickets.
