When do AB's stop growing? I'm just curious as to if my 2 year old (I think) female is completely done growing.

Female African Bullfrogs are usually full sized within a year, though they can sometimes surprise you by growing an inch or so more over the following year or two. Males can reach 7 inches in a year but it usually takes them a few more to reach the 8+ inch region.

    Whats wrong with abbreviating?

Her dimensions are 5" from mouth to butt 4" from side to side (fattest part) and she's 9.5" around (fattest part of her body)

I think Zack's logic was that this is in the African Bullfrog section so AB was self-explanatory.

Well yea but if it confuses some of you I guess I could type out the whole name. So my female sounds full grown? I know you have told me this before..Its just she seems so tiny compared to the male at out petshop!

Females are tiny compared to males. How big is your female? If she is over 4 inches then you've got a pretty big female.

You can always type pyxie for short, that works and its not likely to confuse most people here.

I would say your girl is pretty much as big as she is going to get, and she is a very nice size, I might add. My female looks tiny compared to my male and he is no where near as big as some I've seen on t.v. I watched a nature show and they had a special on frogs....they showed a group of African Bullfrogs mating and you could barely see the female under the male. Basically you saw her legs as she tried to move around. I'm surprised she wasn't smothered!
