2 pics of my old and current exo terra habit setup, the first ic is my current and second is my old setups. I am currently using a mix of Zoo Med Repti Bark and exo terra plantation soil. with a humidity level of about 65%. but I'm having a small problem with mold build up in the substrate, so im wondering what kinds of substrates that i can use for green tree frog ?
the only idea i have right now is to use some kind of sand and river rock and have water just above the substrate.
The mold is probably due to poor air circulation. What kind of ventilation do you have on the lid? As for substrate alternatives, the mold won't do the frogs any harm but if you must use something else, you could try peat moss, or top soil (or a mixture).

good to know that the mold doesnt harm the frogs, for venting i have the top lid half covered with a light hood and there is a vent just below the front doors. heres the link to the exo terra enclosure im using Exo Terra : Natural Terrarium Small / Advanced Reptile Habitat
this weekend i might have to get a second light hood for heating since its getting colder here
