Default The End of the Buying Season?

Hey guys. I was just wondering, this being my first year into Pacman Frogs, if this is pretty much the end of availability for Pacman Frogs until spring. I realize that it is diffecult to breed Pacman Frogs in many areas out of breeding season (the spring). I know it took a little bit more than a month for my LPS to order Malcolm for me, she said it was seasonal and I got him in the spring. I have already seen major sellers sell off most of their stock. I know there are still quite afew C.cranwelli available, but I am looking for a C.ornata which certainly seem hardy to find this time of year, not that I can buy right now anyway.

I was just wondering because right now I am not in the finacial position to order a Pacman Frog off internet. I will have to wait and watch some of the last of the Pacman Frogs to go out of stock. I am just wondering if I will need to wait until spring. I just need to make plans if this is something that is going to start up again before next spring.

I don't know. Has anyone heard anything or know how that generally works? Thanks guys!

    MeTree,

I'm not sure if its the end of the availibility of Pacmans yet, but I have noticed one of my pet stores near me sold all of their reptiles out. They put on sail pretty cheap. I purchased Grif at the end of Febuary/ start of March. I got him at Petsmart. Maybe they are a sesonal pet since winter delivery of a cold blooded animal may be to risky. I'm sure someone on here will know for sure.

Well I hope they are year round, I recently went to a pet store to get my first pac man frog to add to my family of 12 other frogs. And they were out. I was getting worried!

As soon as the heat is gone u will see them alot more. Places tend to stay away from frog ordering because its to hot and heat and frogs dont mix.

I am wondering if it partially depends on the area. I don't know. I contacted Josh (josh's frogs) and he said that they probably wouldn't be getting in any more Pacman Frogs until next winter. He only has about 13 right now. I imagine that it wouldn't be diffecult to find a Cranwell's at any point of the year, but it seems frogs like C.ornata, C.cornuta, C.'hybrid' (Fantasy) are more diffecult to find throughout the year.

I don't know. Thanks for all the imput guys!
