    White's Tree Frog water feature?

Hello everyone, I am setting up a new WTF terrarium and I have a Reptofilter that I can use. Do WTFs enjoy having a pond with small waterfall in their terrarium? Is this recommended?

    Thank you!!

    Re: New WTF size difference?

Sorry Frogman1031, I just added info about how I am/will be feeding them separately (as I do with all my reptiles and amphibians). So with food not being an issue do you forsee any other problems?

    New WTF size difference?

Hello everyone, we now have another White's Tree Frog to eventually house together with our existing WTF. The new frog is in quarantine and seems quite healthy (and quite chubby), but is bigger than...

Re: New White's Tree Frog possible issue

Well, I think Quibbit is looking better! She has also gained some weight in the last few days, about 3 grams so she is now 18 grams and about 3 inches long. Here are a couple pics I took of her...

Re: New White's Tree Frog possible issue

The spot looks slightly better today, and I put a dab of non pain relieving neosporin on it this morning to help it along. Hopefully it will just continue to get better.....

Re: New White's Tree Frog possible issue

Re: New White's Tree Frog possible issue

She is really cute! Do you ever see her up in a plant or on a tree branch? I know they are supposed to be tree frogs but I have yet to see Quibbit anywhere but on the ground in a hole sandwiched...

Re: New White's Tree Frog possible issue

Awesome vid, he/she is adorably chubby. I loved how she kept trying to shove the last little bit of the worm in and finally slammed it in. I am going to see if Quibbit will take one tonight......

Re: New White's Tree Frog possible issue

They are actually nightcrawlers, just checked the container. Thought they were red wigglers (the ones you get for fishing) as I had bought those previously for my axolotls but I must have changed...

What do you usually feed yours?

I HATE crickets, and if there is a chance they bit her on the face I will never buy them again. I have not seen the special "non biting" crickets around here so...

Yeah, I saw that too about the moss mat carpet which is why it is still in the box. Thank you so much for your help!

Re: New White's Tree Frog possible issue

I just got a reply from the seller, they mentioned that it may be a cricket bite and that I should keep an eye on her. I have been keeping crickets in there but they are in a glass bowl which...

Re: New White's Tree Frog possible issue

Believe me I understand the impaction concern, we have a number of reptiles and amphibians and I am always paranoid about what I put in there. Impaction is not fun. When using a false bottom in the...

Thank you irThumper, I guess I should have mentioned that I meant live moss that does not have loose bits. I have read the care sheet and they mention using sphagnum moss on top of the false bottom...
