Thanks. I haven't used bactine, but it's already getting better naturally.

Thanks. I haven't used bactine, but it's already getting better naturally.
Does anybody know what's up with her head? She's eating fine. The only new things in her terrarium are some mosses that I put in there almost two weeks ago. The average temperature is 74-68. She's...
That's normal for them. If you're really worried, I don't see how dusting off some dirt by him could hurt him.
Nobody here sells them since they're native, and I can't catch any since they're all frozen.
I'm moving some animals into my basement and I'm looking on expanding my collection. Unfortunately, the room gets to as low as 16*C in the winter, but averages around 18*C. I can't find anything to...
Lost Frogs by Robin Moore (I believe). It's not scientific in nature, but it might do. Even if you can't use it, it's a good read.
I've kept them before. Very active and defensive. It's not worth the risk to keep them in there. Chances are that they're Lithobius spp., correct?
Depending on the age it could be a frog form of cataracts.
From my experience the only way to get an educated guess is to post a picture. Even then, it's impossible to guarantee a thing. If it's obviously not a shed, you should be taking him to a vet with...

I couldn't get the other links to work, so here's two that I've checked and made sure that they work. Can anyone I.D the...
Just picked up a pair of ADFs. I've got them in a little shoebox tank.

Thanks for the help. I just recently found this http://www.poisonfrog.org/index.php/topic/119-chytrid-fungus/
Would the treatment described there work? Or should I use the other one?
Nice frog and tank. I'd ditch the paper next to the heating lamps. That's not a good combo. It's also easy to keep the humidity up without having something blocking the screen.
I'd recommend using a 10:1 water to vinegar ratio for cleaning the tank. That's what I use and it works like a charm. Just remember to rinse it off with hot water before you put anything in it. If...
So does anybody here know how to treat it? More specifically, can you put the meds in the aquarium in which they live, and how much and what should you use for the best results? Thanks for all the...
Only the big guys. You don't want to come home one day and see your thumbnail chilling on the couch with some beer.
I'd rest better knowing that this fungus isn't in my home. How do you treat it or test for it? I've looked online and have seen a few chemicals, but nothing on administering it, nor anything on the...
Nope, I bought two then I got three six months later.
More than likely. I never asked the old owner and the pet store. I doubt it's a pathogen (from being WC) because I've had these guys for about two or three years. I'm not saying it's impossible of...
Occasional calcium dusting on gut loaded crickets.
Dechlorinated tap water. Same as with all my pets.
My last guy couldn't correct himself unless he was moved quite a lot, and he was turning brown. Other than that, nothing.
It's next to impossible to find anything besides melanogasters where I live. I already have a colony set up (for my golden mantella) and I'm looking on expanding to dart frogs. I've been reading that...
I didn't have any filtration, but doubt that was the reason because I've kept the water change intervals (twice weekly) the same for three years. My axolotl was also on the same pattern of intervals....
I've had a few FBTs die a year ago in a tank, two survived. I removed them from that tank and used vineger to clean in. I put my axolotl in their for a couple weeks while I was resetting his tank up....
