Re: Need Additional Assistance .... Tree Frogs!

I released them today. It was cool watching them "disappear." Photos attached. There are about 15 left in the tub and most of them have 4 legs. They may all just make it to frogdom.

    Re: Need Assistance

Thank you! I didn't know about the tail. Many of the ones that left the trough did have stubby little tails. The little guy I have doesn't have a tail. I know for sure I can find small ants ... I'll...

    Need Assistance

    Greetings:

    Re: Mosquitoes and tadpoles

I have also read that bacillus thuringiensis will control the mosquito larvae. Is this safe to use around the tadpoles?

Late yesterday evening we were sitting on the front porch, and I heard calls from at least 4 distinct tree frogs. There were some way out in our yard and in our horse pasture too.

I think so too. I love these little frogs. They are not afraid of us at all, and they sit around our front porch or deck many times while we're sitting outside too. They started laying eggs in a tub...

Re: Help with Gray American Tree Frog

Thank you, but I think I have run out of luck. My little frog doesn't have the energy now to hold onto things. I have it on the floor of the enclosure on something stable, but it isn't moving. If I...

Re: Help with Gray American Tree Frog

Thank you. I will try the crickets. The frog really isn't very big, so that's why I have been sticking with the fruit flies, but maybe it no longer is interested. I have plenty of places where I can...
