Thanks for the help!
I was more curious than anything else, but still need some questions answered, your help is appreciated.
Currently, I have the two in a 2.5 gallon tank with wet paper towels...
I have a couple quick questions about my tads. Currently 2 of 5 have popped their front arms over the last couple days. I've moved the two to a temporary grow out tank, lowered the water, and tilted...
And a few...

No arms yet, but...
From a few minutes ago......
Not to change the subject, but have you ever seen this in a tadpole?
I haven't found anything online, but it looks like an external gill.

I'm so happy I went with tadpoles even though it's not the usual starting point. Watching them change has been a really amazing experience. It's almost unbelievable how much they can change from one...
They're getting closer to morphing! Front legs should be popping anytime...
They're Variabilis southern.
I've searched Google, dendroboard, here with no luck. It doesn't seem to bother the tadpole at all, so I guess we'll have to wait and see.
So far 3 of 5 are...
Awesome! We have three cats that are quick to point out a stray cricket, and a Bernese Mtn. dog that's deathly afraid of bugs, with the exception of an occasional housefly.

Good evening everyone, hope all is well in your lives!
I have a strange problem with one of my tadpoles. It has something fibrous coming out of its spiricale. It's been like this for a few weeks...

Thanks for the reply. It's just really weird that out of the five cups, only one is "infested". I'll change out the cup and give it new java moss to be safe.

Over the past week I've been beginning to find some thin hairlike worms in one of the tadpole cups. Today I noticed them really bad in only one of the cups, but there have been a couple noticed in...
UPDATE:
I've had the little guys for about 2 1/2 weeks now and they are rapidly changing, almost daily. So far they're all looking healthy, or at least I assume they are.
Just for fun I've been...
I was having the same issues you are dealing with when I first got my roaches. I don't know if this is the "key" to breeding them, but I've noticed a boom in population after feeding them the...
I'm fairly sure that it's the same as the others. It's just odd that it really hasn't changed a whole lot compared to the others. It will probably darken up soon.

Nope, not yet. I've done a lot dumber things than this and still have my thinking privileges. Unfortunately she's used to it. Now she just looks at me and shakes her head. Ten years of marriage and I...
I picked the little guys up Saturday. Its Tuesday night now and they already starting to look different. It's amazing how much has happened in the past three days.
This guys the front runner so...
Thank you for asking, but unfortunately she didn't make it.
This really sucks. I rescued her from the neighborhood kids, raised her two years as a tadpole, and three years OOW. She was the frog...
