This is what it says for the bird bulb. 2.4% UVB and 12% UVA. Will that be ok?

Are there cheaper options than these? These run $25.

I was always told that these guys don't need UV lighting. But then I also have heard people say they'd benefit from it as well. What are your guys/gals thoughts on this?

This is what you want then. The Exo Terra 18x18 stand. It's made for that terrarium. Fits perfectly, and has pegs on the top to keep the terrarium from sliding off, if that would be a concern....

On a side not, I recommend getting another 'friend' for your frog (or 2). They are very social creatures.

I saw that the other day when I was in. I bought my frogs about a year and a half ago. And the frogs at that time were advertised as CP. AT least that's how they were marked and that's what he said....

And that's possible I suppose. They were listed as CB in the store tho.

Reptile Rapture in Madison (Monona), WI. It's just a reptile/amphibian store. He doesn't breed them, he just buys captive bred animals from breeders and sells them I believe.

Of all my Red eyeds, this one is my favorite. I love how the markings along his side is so refined. I don't see many like that.

Air temps too?

Can you guys tell me about these? Are the infrared the ones to get? Are they more accurate than the Exo Terra digtal probe thermometers?

Also, do they measure the air temps, or just surface temps?...
