what kind of filter do you use in your tank?
Is river rock hard to maintain as far as cleaning is concerned? And just how much larger is it than your standard gravel? I imagine food and waste would be easy to get lost in between the cracks.
So I've been a gravel user in my aquariums since I began the hobby. I bought some aquarium sand months ago, but never got around to using it. So my question to you all is, would you all recommend...
I regret to inform everybody that my beloved frog, E.T., has passed away. I buried him outside and wrapped him in leaves. Even now I'm having a hard time knowing that he won't be sitting in his tank...
I wish I could give a better report. He's still hanging on, but it doesn't look promising. One of his toenails fell off, but appears to be growing back. One of his eyes had a red splotch on it, and...
I hope so. I love this frog, and I'm very saddened by his condition.
Now I'm a bit concerned. I woke up this morning to find this. His left leg almost appears to have a mass of sorts. It's hard to see in the pictures, but it's especially noticeable to the naked eye.

In that case, I guess I'll just bump the tank cleaning up to once a week and just go from there. I'm just hoping it's because he ain't hungry. The only thing that is making me nervous is that he does...
They're in a 20 gallon long tank. I haven't been cleaning the tank on a weekly basis, but have considered starting. When I do clean the tank, I take everything out and clean the gravel and rocks and...
Not sure if I'm paranoid or not, but i just would like some outside opinions.
My Albino ACF has not been eating like he usually does. In fact, since I moved my female frog in with him, he hasn't...
So I'm in a bit of a dilemma - I've currently got two African Clawed Frogs, and they have never been housed together. My first one, the albino, I've had for about 10 months now, and he's a pretty...
Another day, another topic. the topic style should explain everything. I feed my frog a mixture of earthworms and frozen bloodworms. The reason I am making this topic is because I would like to mixup...
Hey everyone. So I got home last night and noticed my dear frog, E.T., seems to have a little redness under one of his eyes. I couldn't get the best picture, but its definitely look a little...
I don't have anything to test the ammonia atm, I should probably look into getting some. The only thing I have is a pH test kit, and it read close to 7.0. Either way, he's back in his 20 gallon tank,...
Hello everybody. So I suppose this began about the middle of next week. My frog has never had any difficulty eating, and I would treat him to his daily meal consisting of a half of a nightcrawler, or...
This treatment thing has got me so flustered. I stopped trying to treat him because I'm scared I'm gonna stress him to death every time I take him out of the tank. He kicks and jumps (really high, i...
Randy, those frogs and that dragon goby are glorious!
Here's my 20 gallon setup. 2 males, 1 albino, 1 normal.

UPDATE:
I put the last dose of Tatracycline in the tank a day or two ago. The only thing it seemed to accomplish is making the water turn a nasty color. My frog's sores don't seem to have healed...
I figured that's what it was. I'm in the middle of a Tetracycline treatment atm.
Hey everyone. First and foremost, Merry Christmas to all!
So, lately I have noticed one of my frogs had some little sores on his toes. At first I assumed it was just a random injury that would...
Thanks for your all's concerns and condolences. I gave him a proper burial in the backyard yesterday. I was really bummed out yesterday, more than I thought I would have been. I was pretty attached...
I think I'll be alright, assuming I can shake this guilt that I failed as his caretaker. I had him since he was a wee froglet, I was really hoping I would get to raise him to adulthood. The fish tank...
I'm sad to inform everyone, I just got back from the pet store, but I didn't make it back in time. Claude is dead. :(
He's still not wanting to eat anything. I've seen him go down to the bottom of the bucket a few times since I have put him in there, so he can still maintain his buoyancy to a degree. I'm just trying...
I was referring to Claude. I panicked and went ahead and put him in the bucket shortly after I posted on here. I never even considered putting the plecos in the bucket. I'm so upset and nervous over...
