Re: Help, white tree frog not eating!!!!

Count how many you put in the dish and leave him to himself. If he normally eats out of the dish, he should be okay without supervision. Sometimes if my White's is too stressed about my presence he...

Back again, no stool in 2 weeks...

To start, my frog has a pretty extensive medical history and an unknown origin (He was purchased for my brother at a local pet store with a very poor reputation).

You can read about his saga...
  5. Re: Guidance needed...enclosure decorating...

Thank you Lynn! I would have been completely lost without the support and knowledge of members of this forum (and maybe my vet a little bit ;)). I am so happy that I found it!

    He's in an Exo Terra...
  6. Re: Guidance needed...enclosure decorating...

Due to my baby's very extensive medical and surgical history, I can't afford to risk him contracting anything from decor aquired outdoors but thank you. :)

  7. Re: Missing WTF, Im having a hell of a start to keeping frogs.

Good luck keeping track of everyone and feeding in that thing! :D

Serious hats off to you guys who keep multiples of multiple species, my hands have been pretty full with just one!
  8. Guidance needed...enclosure decorating...

I have officially been given the go-ahead to give my baby his "home" back, after MONTHS of a hospital tank due to endless surgeries for parasites...what a beginning to my adventure into amphibians. ...
  9. Re: Missing WTF, Im having a hell of a start to keeping frogs.

Oh my goodness! It's no wonder you couldn't find him right away, I have trouble finding mine in it's enclosure! So, so happy you found him and hope he enjoyed his "man cave" for the night. ;)

    Re: Sexing Whites Tree Frogs?

Both male and female White's can croak, so that's not always a reliable method of sexing, but if there is a spot of brown coloration on the "thumb", that is an indicator that you have a male. Males...

YAY! Some good news to go to bed to! Congrats! Now lock that boy up tight and no more car rides unless it's to a vet! :)
  12. Re: Missing WTF, Im having a hell of a start to keeping frogs.

Hope you find him alive and well soon!

    Re: Help please!!!

I've been told not to mix species in the same tank for several reasons including different habitat requirements, and the dangers of injury to each other.

You should separate the two for sure, and...

Oh no! I've read on a previous post that you can soak them in something in the mean time until you get her to a vet, but you should call around and get in somewhere right away. I hope someone more...

    Re: whites tree frog

I've found that mine seems to depend on the temperature and where he is in the enclosure. If he's in one of his hiding spots, or it's cooler or less humid than normal he is very dark brown, but once...

    Back again....bloated WTF.

Hello again! I posted a while back about my frog having a parasite that was surgically removed from his skin. Now, he's bloated! Will it never end?

He had surgery exactly 1 week ago, and his last...
