Re: Where should i order my pixie?

It’s going to be very hard, if not impossible to determine if the frog is male at 2 cm. You maybe able to tell from visual signs around 10cm. Look at kingsnake.com they usually have pixies if you...

I feed in the enclosure with tongs to insure that nothing is left behind. I’ve tried to use a separate container for feeding but it seems to scare the frog and they don’t eat. I mostly feed in the...

    Re: Dubia roach colony dying

Yes all sizes, and it’s happening in both bins, mostly to the adults though. It’s weird because this colony was exploding with life before I tampered with it. Temps are in the low 80s and humidity is...

    Re: Safe to Feed?

It’s never a good idea to feed thing from outside. They could give your frog disease or parasites not to mention they might be toxic.

Re: Is the african bullfrog a good starter frog?

I say go for it. Pixie frogs are super easy, as far as frogs go. Just remember they grow rapidly and will need a sizable enclosure and lots of food. All in all I would say they are a good beginner...

I dust everytime I feed my Pacman crickets, dubia or super worms. I also feed earthworms and feeder fish (undusted). She is fat and happy and I’ve never had any issues.
