my frog appears to have tried to sleep while i was away for about a week. when i got back i noticed she was in a pot under the roots of a pothos plant. she looks brown and has a film over one eye...
it could be those white worms i had in my springtail cultures awhile ago. i think they where called grindal worms. i was told they are harmless and sometimes used as a feeder for fish.
yea i just ran it for about 10 seconds when i picked it up. what should i do to clean it
I read the impeller should be replaced annually. correct?
sorry i didnt quite get what you ment there.
iv mixed it with other things and used it indoors. i wouldnt do that without boiling and freezing then boiling it again. it molded when i didnt.
I know very little about these things. i think everything is there. when i plug it in its quite loud. also how should i clean it?
i vote for Tzunu un. http://www.frogforum.net/general-discussion-news/34268-anyone-care-explain-how-water-conditioner-works.html
that deserves a nomination for member of the month! thanks for taking the time i have read and learnt alot from this.
are they all the same? im wondering if anyone here knows exactly how water treatment products like Seachem Prime actually work. thanks
the frog has nowhere to hide. the cave is a start but it would be way better if you got some floating aquatic plants and tons of pothos creeping around. and in a tank atleast 2x that.
i use vinegar but i think i will be using lemon juice now as that sounds alot better. i hate the smell of vinegar and it takes abit to rinse it out. and the question asked wasnt directed to the op lol
but wheres the frog :(
laminate it and it will last even longer
i literally read that seconds after i replied here. thats good news all around :)

heres the link anyway, it will work whenever the site is back. Caudata.org Newt and Salamander Forum
you should give the hyacinth a go indoors. it would be an experiment. the only real success i...
i had water hyacinth and i have two kinds of duckweed. there was a sweet link to a caudata thread where some guy said he kept them alive for years under a single grolux tube. but for some reason...
oh man, those are nasty.. so theres no types of nematodes that require a host to live off. i guess theyre independent and thats where nematodes and parasites differ
that looks really good paul, can you explain what happened as far as the nematode investation. did the frogs have it or was it the vivarium? and what can others do to prevent that? thanks
i cant remember what its made of but it would be atleast to me more of a chore to change that as frequently compared to other options. Its a beauty thought id like to own one that was made of...
