Anything you can update us on this? Is it better or worse? The only thing I could come up with is maybe an injury or irritation that is healing. But since you said it was growing in size, I'm...
Bump away..... activity here is at an all time low. Anything to get it going again is okay by me, though I'm not in any way shape form or fashion, connected with the forum administration. I'm just...
The crickets I raise usually spend their entire life cycle in the bin I put their eggs in after collecting them. Even though I only leave that container of eggs in there for three or four days after...
Being that the question is really about a specific frog (although you don't tell us what type), I would have posted the question in the sub-forum for that type frog. Then for sure you'd get this...
I don't have any idea. But I'll do some googling too. The forum has been slow lately and many of the knowledgeable members have not be seen very much. But post back occasionally to keep your...
A lot of the youtube videos I've seen about raising crickets go too far overboard..... IMO. The best information I found that got me moving in the right direction is this...
Welcome to the forum. You can do a land/water setup and you can keep fish in there too. Just be sure to pick a frog species that likes water habitats.
I keep fire belly toads in a 10 gallon tank...
When my crickets get too old, I put them in a bucket I keep nearby and spray them with a poison. Then they go out to the compost pile with all the other litter that was in their bin. For a few...
If my answer to you question got lost in the above, it just boils down to "it's not an issue". Your WTF's know what they want to eat. If they regularly shun them when other crickets are available,...
I don't give crickets in the process of molting to my FBT's because they only prey on food that moves alot. The molting ones are too still to attract their attention. However if their lack of...
I raise my own crickets for my fire belly toads. Molting is necessary for crickets. Their exoskeleton doesn't stretch very well, so they have to get rid of it to grow.
Greetings to you too. I just tolerate my frogs. Can't say I love them <<grin>>. Fire belly toads I inherited from my son when he left for college.
It eventually rots. But it takes several years when used in the hanging baskets as an outer layer. The coco fibers don't seem to soak up water at all under normal conditions. So water essentially...
I wouldn't score or cut the existing silicone in any way. There is a lot of stress going on in that joint already..... the two intersecting planes running perpendicular, uneven thermal...
I don't think it's bad either way, latex or not. I just might be a little cautious if the latex is fresh from the factory or has been sealed up in a bag. Rubber and plastics can have things in them...
Not many adhesives of any sort stick to their dried or cured brethren. That's why you should always clean them off, or at least give the next best thing which is a good cleaning and/or roughing up....
The plan is to put my FBT's that are currently in a 10 gallon tank. Currently only two, but once this is ready I'll probably add at least three more FBT's.
welcome back. Glad the four or so days of "database error" didn't cause you to "forget" us. I do enjoy the continuing saga. Keep it coming.
I'm still wondering about that too.... maybe the website issue is still affecting others and they have not been able to contact the webmaster as I was able to do.
I have not seen but two or...
As far as the charcoal goes.... how are you intending to use it? And what type charcoal? I used to use granular activated charcoal in an aquarium filter. It was a re-fillable canister, seems like...

Welcome to the forum. I hope you'll hang around and help contribute to the posts here. Prior to Monday, the forum for me has been experiencing some technical issues for over four days that I think...
I think that the site was hacked a few years ago. It's never been quite the same since. There are still links that don't work properly and missing info. After my experience not being able to view...
Seems that the forum has been having technical issues the last four or so days and no one, including myself, have been able to reply to any posts or even view them while logged in. So hopefully that...
Are you leaving the tads in the same tank as the parents? I'm guessing that's a good way to minimize the population explosion. All thoughts on that will be interesting if anyone cares to comment....
