Ok so here is an update....we are leaving today for only 2 nights but because it was so hard to give him food in his tadpole set up (with all the rocks where he was hiding) I decided to take him out...

I will post a picture if i get to see him....he hides pretty good in the rock work...just for reference....i found this picture online...the small tadpole is in step 3 and the bigger one is on step...
