You're breaking federal law by offering these for sale over the Internet. Anyone from outside Arizona who buys one is also breaking federal law.

I got some Arizona Desert Toads. They are one of the largest frogs in the world and will get big enough to eat rats like its a cricket. They dont make much noise, they love to eat...and when I say they love to eat...they will eat WHAT EVER you put in there tanks and it will be gone within 10 seconds. They are very healthy, about the size of a hand right now and will get WAY huge to about the size of a full grown mans head EASY if not bigger.

This is the Colorado River Toad, also called the Sonoran Desert Toad. I'm just telling you what Arizona law states. Shipping them or purchasing them outside Arizona is a violation of the federal Lacey Act. Read more in our article. It's not me you need to worry about, it's state and Federal officials. I'm just the messenger.

This is an interesting debate . I see them at almost all the reptile show/sales throughout the US at $75 -100 a pop. I see them for sale on US herp classfieds as well. I've herped in Az before a few years back and there was no protection on them. Perhaps Az Fish and Game changed this in the last three years ? If so , how do you explain the legal sale of them outside of Arizona ?

Willing to trade 2 ornate horned frogs, PM me if yes
I suppose you people don't mind breaking the law. Or buying a protected species. What the seller is doing is called poaching and you all are supporting that. Good to know there's people out there that care about the environment.
Agreed. This shouldn't even be on the discussion boards.
Ornate Pac Man named Walter, Albino Pac Man named Al.

I believe he said they are captive breed, therefor no poaching. Though I still agree if they are protected and you are breeding you should go start head start program with them to repopulate. Or at the very least watch out for the federal lacy act
