When misting, chomper freaks out. So I usually mist the tank when he hiding or in the water dish. But I mist it when he was out and all sudden he started to spaze out. I use the same water I use for the water bowel, treated the same way. I take a gallon pitcher and add the water conditioner and just fill up his bowel and the misting bottle. Well when I started misting 1 minute in (usually do it for 2 min's then stir the bedding up a little, then mist again) he just freak out. I have mix the soil around near him and he never mind. Just today he just decided to give me a heart attack almost. Any thoughts why he acted like this?

Re: When misting, chomper freaks out. Mine does the same thing, the only thing I came up with is it is cold. I try to keep his enclosue warm and humid and when I spray him down the water (at room temperature) is a few degrees cooler.
Another thought, I woke him up. If I was sleeping and all of a sudden I was getting sprayed with water I would freek. ***2cents***
