Does this seem healthy to you?

Hi Jabba, Very cute wee Pac. I don't know these frogs at all but with the frogs I do know it helps if you make a wee area in your tank where it would feel safe like a cave or anything for it to hide in would be good. It will take time but eventually your frog wont feel the need to panic. Someone else will have to help on the Poop question, but if your Pac is eating then it a good sign. Sorry I cant be of more help but there's lots here who will help you.

cant really tell by the pic quality about health in looks. but its legs seem kinda sprawled out and frogs have no choice to do this its a lack of calcium. what do you feed it and what conditions you keeping it at???

Can't tell anything from the photos. You need to take much closer shots of the frog. As for monitoring its "poop", good luck with that - that is more trouble than it's worth, especially when you are trying to find a brown frog poop on (or in) brown substrate. Your substrate looks pretty moist - that's likely why the frog is not in the water bowl a lot, so don't worry about that. Finally, pacman frogs aren't great "pet" species - they hardly ever move except when feeding, and they seem to remain somewhat jumpy all of their lives. I don't recommend them as a pet frog, more of a special interest group. This is unfortunate because pet shops around the world sell them like crazy.

Deejay: for the conditions, for now i keep it in a 5 gallon until it gets a lil bigger. I use plantation soil. There is a fake plant in there. I dont have a hygrometer but i pour water on the soil and make sure it is always nice and wet. Is there such a as too moist? It is heated with an infrared lamp that is on 24h a day. Temp is over 90 on the hot side and about 82 on the cool. For feedings, i fed him crickets, since last week i have been feeding him waxworms and butterworms. Ill admit that ive never dusted the crickets in calcium and d3 like im supposed too...

John: i know its not a very good ''pet'' but its just interesting for me to have a fat frog that eats like a pig. I just want to make sure im caring for it right..

This might be bad but ive also been digging it out when i want to feed it... I guess i dont really know how to address the burrowing situation... I jave a feeling it would just stay underground all the time if i dont ''help'' it... I dont want it to starve ...

Anyways... Maybe im asking too many questions but its just that it seems hard to monitor whether such an inactive animal is doing good yknow?

That's too warm for that frog in my opinion, given that you're using an infra-red bulb. As for it not eating for 5 days, how long have you had it and did it ever have a good appetite?

It's definetly had a better appetite but I'd have to dig it out and then have food walk in fronk of it. It would pretty much eat everytime I fed it...

I will switch to a lower wattage bulb.

How long did you have it before the appetite problem?

Something to consider is that this frog lives in forests, not in the wide open, with the sun beating down on it. That's why bulbs can be a dangerous idea.

I've had the frog for about a month.
At first I had heat pads stuck to the side, but they really dont seem to do the trick. its pretty cold where I live and it didnt seem to affect the temperature whatsoever.
