I'm not quite sure where you're getting the feeding info because its a little bit of a stretch. Best food for Pacman Frogs are Night Crawlers. Crickets are fine, but giving them a varied diet is best. If you ever do decide to feed it mice use pinky mice. Safer for your frog because it is small and hairless. Also unlike juvenile and adult mice they can't defend themselves potentially harming your frog. An adult Pacman will eat. loser to 10 to 15 large crickets depending on the size of the crickets. A Pyxie Frog(Giant African Bull Frog) can easily put away 45 to 50were crickets as an adult.
Average lifespan of a Pacman is 5 to 10 years. They can live up to 26 to even over 30 years depending on how well cared for and healthy the frog is. There is a Male Ornate at the Manchester Zoo in England named Sumo that is over 30 years old. These animals are a very fulfilling pet and are very fun.A lot of people say that they are boring because they are not very active. They are ambush predators so the sit and wait for food to come to them. Like all frogs and toads they are a look, but don't touch pet. Frequent handling can lead to severe stress which is the number one killer of captive frogs and toads. Keep that in mind. Also the oils from your skin can harm and damage theirs. You must always wash your hands before and after handling the frog for whatever reason.
I hope this helps answer your questions.![]()
