    Default Cornutas laid eggs

    Cornutas laid eggs last night. Cant believe it! I think that was the easiest breeding of any of my frogs. I will post pics of the eggs here in a few hours. 50% look fertile atleast.

    Offspring when availible will be $100-$150.00 between quarter & half dollar size. There has not been any babies really for sale in the last 2 years.

    Here are pics of the eggs. This is the main cluster of eggs. There are a few hundred total. I dont think the male fertilized all of them. We will see what happens in a few days

    WOW congrats!! These are probably my favorite frog next to african bullfrogs! Wouldnt mind a pair or 2 in the future of these guys

    Thank you! Didnt think they would breed. Considering i put them in a 5 gallon tank with a bubbler to let them soak in. So the water wasnt at proper egg temp. But it is now. Well see tuesday if they hatch.

    Mike, Can you see the nuptial pads on the cornutas? If so could you post a pic for reference? I saw the other thread where you showed a close up of a nuptial pad of an albino, but I cant find one on my cornutas with their black feet.

    Its hard to see them. There is a size difference. The females are 50% larger than the males. Put yours together in a pic and post it. I can tell you. Also, noticed the females beards are more of a chocolate color and the males are a black color.
