I agree! I love seeing all the pictures that people post of their frogs, and seeing the different types of frogs from around the world.

Oh no, he doesn't! He's a very voracious eater! However, when I first acquired him he wouldn't eat unless he sat in my hand. No joke.

How'd you get such excellent photos? I'm having trouble getting real nice and clear photos with mine.

I have a DSLR. They seem to take pretty good pictures. I also set up a make-shift light box for better photos.

ah, you have an expensive camera. Mine isn't that good, but it is a good little Canon. i was thinking of setting up a light box, but I have to wait for Jr to get healthy again before stressing him out too much.

All my photos are taken with my Cannon Powershot. Not too expensive, but it turns out pretty decent pictures. I do need to rig up something better for lighting though. Yeah, it's definitely a good idea to wait until Jr is feeling better.

It's a Nikon D3000. Canon is a DSLR brand unless you have just a little point-n-shoot. Either way, if you learn to tweak settings right you can take good pictures with them.

I have a Canon powershot A490. It's not top of the line, but it is good. I've taken some great pics with it. It just doesn't like taking pics through glass, it picks up on all the little specks on the glass from the dirt and water.

I was a professional photographer for several years and I started off using crappy point and shoot digital cameras.....I took the following pics with non-DSLR cameras. Having an expensive camera doesn't automatically mean good pics....

I know having the camera doesn't automatically guarantee the best photos. I've worked with cameras that only focused when they felt like it and still got some amazing photos. I love my little camera, it does what i want it to. It just strains through the glass of Jr's terrarium. It doesn't always get the color I'm seeing either, that's really the only things that annoy me about it. It picks up action shots very well. I'd like to get one with shake resistance(?) because my hands shake a lot. I can't remember what that feature is called at the moment.

nikon is my second favorite brand, Canon is my first choice. It is a little point and shoot one, the next one up was more than twice as much and this one was on sale for $90. Once Jr is better, I'll take some better photos of him since he's gotten so much bigger.

Jr's gotten so much bigger, I'll mess with my camera while he gets better. i'll set up my lighting box and take some pics so you can see an example if you'd like.

I like Canon's too. My other DSLR (which is my sister's, but I tend to use it more then her at times) is a Canon. I usually use it when I take trips to Zoos because she has a Zoom lens.

I like to use my 35mm Canon EOS when I need high quality like that. Amazing camera!
