Question How old is my frog :S

I've had my pacman for about 6 or 7 months. When I got her she was about 2 inches long and has grown about 1/2 an inch since (her size does fluxuate quite a bit though, sometimes when she's full she's REALLY fat). Anyways, I have no idea how old she was when I got her. I feed her pretty much every other day (and she'll eagerly eat around 6 crickets each time) and I'm wondering if I should start feeding her only once a week. I've been told you should only feed very young pacs every other day.

Does anyone know how to determine a pacmans age?

My pac is about 2 and 1/2 inches long. I've always assumed she is a female because she has never croaked but if she is a male then she would be almost her full adult size (right? haha). She was never very colorful as some young pacmans are - she's mostly brown but has really neat lime green stripes on her head - and her coloring has never changed since i've had her. I can upload a picture if that might help but I only have a camera phone and it won't be that great, haha. But yeah! If anyone can help me determine the age of my pacman I'd be greatful!

You can feed baby Pacmans and juviniles everyday if you want. If they aren't hungry they won't eat. I offer food daily, but if your frog is used to every other day then I wouldn't change the schedule. Quantity of food/vitamins and calcium/temp/humidity, these are all factors that effect Pacman growth and no Pacman frog will grow at the same rate. The age will be difficult to determine because of this.

Almost impossible to tell a frogs age by size. Sometimes animals at petstores will remain at same size for months on end, due to improper setup and lack of food.

So, pretty much just feed her as much as she'll eat, regardless of age?

Ultimately. That is your choice. I feed my baby every night. Sometimes he/she will eat 1 cricket and the next night 1 small cricket 3 mediums and a wax worm. They eat their fill and usually stop. I agree with BG. Not knowing the frogs history makes it extremely dificult to tell the frogs age. I would start with how long you've had your frog because after you purchased her is when her real life begins.

I almost forgot that I have almost 4 inch male C. Cranwelli that is a glutton. He will eat and eat every night so I limit how much I feed him each night. He is about 8 months old, but not quite there yet. He's quite a character. Well actually him and the baby Green C. Cranwelli both are. I've had Grif (the male) since the end of febuary and he was the size of a fifty cent piece when I got him.

The females are usually the ones that make it up to 6 inches. Check it's front feet for Nuptual Pads. If it's a male, they should be there if it's over 8 months old. If you need a picture of what they look like, just say so, I have some.
