    Default Amazon Tree Boas.

I would like to start keeping tree boas and pythons. how much experience must you have for keeping tree boas? i already have a ball python, an apricot milk snake, and an eastern chain kingsnake. i heard ATBs are good to start with for tree boas, but what i would REALLY like to keep is an emerald tree boa or a Sorong green tree python. ive researched them all plenty, and i know you must be very experienced to keep any tree boa or python. so if anyone knows, please reply!!!!!!!

    thanks,
    Isaac

There bite is one of the most painful of all the pyhtons. And they like to keep to themself. There a cool snake though.

Suppose you never seen a bite from an African Rock Python

They are amazing boas and the assortment of colours make it more worthwhile. They are snappy little buggers and apparently can be fussy feeders, but if you buy from a reputable breeder then feeding shouldn't be a problem. They do calm down after time but be prepared for a lot of bites until then, but with patience and a lot of handling they calm down nicely and make great display animals.

A friend of mine has a pair of children's pythons and for the first year or so you couldn't put your hand near the cage (and they have big teeth for their size and feeding habits) and then over night they just calmed down and are now peaceful and easily handable.
