I was thinking of getting a cresty or a mourning gecko, which has the same care. The mourning gecko is only about 4in and is always female which can reproduce without a male by cloning itself. I haven't because I'm not ready to give Jr's tank to another pet and I'm not sure if I can handle babies that need to be sold almost every 4months. Cresties are a very good choice, very neat and pretty. I read in a care article that if they loose their tails, unlike all other lizards, they won't grow them back. Is that true? Does anyone know? Leopard Geckos are also an option since they are very active like the mourning gecko. I've seen all 3 at the reptile expo where I got my late Jr (ornata) and cresties were the most expensive. I wish you the best of luck and can't wait to see pics of the little guy and his home.
