    Default Unexpected Tads!

So, I've had a groupof captve bred, very young golden sedge frogs for about 5-6 weeks now...and yesterday I noticed something moving in the water area of their tank...turns out I have tadpoles (even though I haven't seen any amplexus or eggs).

Usually I like to move the eggs before they hatch, however now I am unsure whether to disturb the tank to try and remove as many tads as possible or leave them in their to grow!

The water area is heavily planted and I'll have some daphnia to put in their tomorrow!

    Any thoughts?

Congratulations Stephen. I'd remove them - easier to look after and keep track of, plus when the tadpoles reach metamorphosis, I would be surprised if the parents try to make a meal of them. Now where are the photos?

Personally, I would remove the adults. its a little bit easier to do.
