Firebellied Newts So... my parets got me a really awesome surprise! Two Firebellied Newts! I named them Crystal and Camille, and they are in a 5-gallon with plants, a small land area, and a snail. They are eating a mixture of frozen/live bloodworms. My big question is... can I keep them with my Firebellied Toads? I've heard about some people doing this. They are in a large, mostly aquatic tank. If I could, that would be great! But if not, that's fine too, but is my tank a good setup? The people at the reputable pet store said it was OK, and that I can keep them with my toads. I need answers. Please help!

In short, there are a lot of posts regarding the toxicity battles, aggressiveness between the two, as well as temperature range differences.
Fire bellied newts require 16-20 celcius water, if the species is hypselotriton orientalis. Fire bellied toads, bombina orientalis, need something like 20-26 celsius.
